New ideas for expanding the product range and thus also the customer base are just as much part of the daily work routine as the renewal of work processes or the introduction of new software programs specially developed for F&P. Also in the division of Merchandise F&P wants to introduce a few new features in the coming months and has hired a working student as support. Since 01.07. Some more details about our new working student at Merchandise - Samuel I am currently experiencing my first working days at F&P Stock Solution and have been able to settle down quickly. This is mainly due to the fact that my new colleagues here are all directly approaching me, very helpful and accommodating. In general, the company makes a very modern and innovative impression on me, so I find it easy to turn to this project with passion. At the moment I'm studying Sports Therapy and Prevention at the University of Potsdam and live in Falkensee, which makes my way to my job very easy. "Sports Therapy and Prevention?" Of course, at first glance this study does not have much in common with my duties at F&P, but that doesn’t pose a problem for me, but on the contrary: I see this step as a challenge for me to prove myself in other areas and gain experience for my later professional life. In addition, proper merchandising in our digital world is extremely important and, in principle, necessary in any industry to successfully build something, and single-track thinking robs you of many options at a certain point. Working life is fast and unpredictable and you never know where it leads you. Why F&P? A friend of mine, who also started working as a F&P trainee, talked so much positive about the company that I applied immediately when I’ve heard they were looking for support. The job interview with the team lead, Alexander Wagner, was also very relaxed and the project immediately convinced me. Apparently, I also convinced Alexander and now I am happy to be a part of F&P. Our new team member on sales - Hadj Chergui Since 2013, F&P Stock Solution has been buying and selling overstocks, overhang and liquidation goods from major and well-known brands in shoes, textiles and accessories to and from around the world. Since the beginning of June this year, the sales team, led by Sales Manager Konstantine Papageorgiou, has become a new member for all clients in the French-speaking region - Hadj Chergui. Actually, I studied engineering. In February 2018 I came to Berlin. Before I join F&P Stock Solution, I gained many different kinds of sales experience. Among other things in the import / export of Algeria to France and Belgium as well as in a taxi company. KUZB136 - Graffiti Artist conjures up a sneaker on the wall from F&P F&P Stock Solution is a growing, international company. Since its foundation, F&P has been developing day by day. With only 100 square meters of storage space and a tiny office shed, everything started in 2013 at the Falkensee headquarter. Step by step, F&P grew and now manages more than 6,000 square meters of storage space on two floors. There are also two large offices in each floor. The team currently consists of around 50 employees, and the trend is rising. The founders, Ole Schneikart and Julius Göllner, would never have themselves expected that the company would grow so fast. The line of business of the company is wholesale of shoes and textiles in the area of ​​overstocks and overhang goods. The idea of ​​allowing a second life cycle for fashion overstock of well-known and big brands was fully realized. F&P has grown fast but healthy, so investments are well planned. As a result, the renovation of the meeting rooms, which since then have been more of a boring existence simply because many other things had priority, has been planned in advance. Fashion, sneakers, young and dymanic were the models for our "Urban Style" meeting room. And what should not be missing in such a room: A cool graffiti on the wall! After a long search in the web, we came across KUZB 136, a German graffiti artist from Berlin, whose work convinced us immediately. Vintage - Old is fashionable again At the end of the first week of June 2019 the Pop-Up Shop Launch Event took place at the Adidas Originals Store in Berlin. The Westend Vintage Store presented its collection of hot pieces from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Insights to the high-quality vintage articles can be found at Instagram under @westend_vintage. The event was accompanied by the finest music by Jack Orsen and Adidas provided delicious drinks and snacks for their guests. Soft drinks were served by Fritz Cola and tasty sandwiches were provided by PIC NIC 34. As a sweet dessert the visitors could enjoy different kinds of Florida ice cream. The focus, however, was not on catering, but on presenting vintage collections from earlier years. Many will certainly ask themselves why vintage is so trendy again. Students from the University of Nebraska visited F&P! On May 14, students studying textile management at the University of Nebraska visited our headquarters in Falkensee to learn about design and fashion. A total of 14 students plus supervisors traveled to Berlin for a few weeks to find out about textiles, merchandising and fashion design. F&P Stock Solution is the ideal partner for this, because we have all the departments that can be of interest here. Buying, Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Content Management and Event Management. Our Head of Sales, Konstantine Papageorgiou, as well as our Head of Buying and Event, informed the students about us, our concept and how we work. Sneakerness Zürich - Our experience report Many sneaker lovers waited already longingly for the weekend on 04.05.2019 until the sneakerness finally stopped again in Zurich. The Sneakerness is one of the biggest sneaker fairs in Europe and takes place regularly in different countries. Meanwhile the fair does not only take place in European countries like Zurich, Cologne, Paris and Amsterdam, but also visits South Africa or Russia. This year the Sneakerness in Zurich again attracted numerous collectors, curious people and sneaker fans. Also our sneaker expert mingled with the audience and could lead many interesting discussions to rare sneakers and conversations with real connoisseurs from the sneaker area. Even before the start of the fair, there was a long queue in front of the entrance and many sneaker lovers flocked to Hall 622. When our sneaker expert entered the hall, he was amazed at the masses of sneakers and the number of diverse models. At the individual booths private sellers and dealers, rare sneakers up to very expensive Supreme articles were offered.  Most of the exhibitors were resellers. Resellers are dealers who, for example, buy an Adidas Yeezy for 300€ and resell it a short time later on the net for up to 1000€, depending on the rarity. Another alternative for the resellers have become fairs to offer their limited sneakers to a large mass.  In addition, there were a number of other cool booths. There was a barber, a tattoo artist and a sneaker cleaner on site to give the visitors a varied day.  Our sneaker lovers were particularly fascinated by the way people met at the show. As a rule, two strangers look each other in the eye first, then you look at the clothes. Sneakerness is different, you first look at the shoes. Because what you wear is what you are measured by in the world of sneakers.
