New backup in the team of "Fashion Flash" - Daniel Cikin supports project management as a working student The F&P Stock Solution GmbH is not only one of the world's leading wholesaler of overstocks for brand shoes and branded textiles. With the second pillar of F&P, the pop-up outlet event "Fashion Flash", F&P also sells its products to end customers. The success story of "Fashion Flash" began in 2013 in Chemnitz. From there, the unique event concept spreaded itself as a mix of special shopping experiences, top brands and top quality products in special prices throughout Germany. The establishment of such an event series requires a lot of know-how and project planning. In the five years since founding Fashion Flash, the team at F&P has gained a lot of experiences, especially with social media marketing, and can also use it for other projects. The team around the Head of Event, Georgios Kotsougianis (named “Jorgo”), was growing steadily, not only with these tasks. Since November 01, 2018, another working student supports the work of our Project Manager, Viktoria Eder. Daniel Cikin was born in Falkensee and is an addition to the team. I finished my degree in Sports Management a few months ago at the University of Potsdam. I’ve been living in Falkensee and I’m very happy that I have found this job, which offers me everything that I enjoy and also with a super short commute. I love topics like: Events, Organization, Fashion and Sneakers. All these points apply to the company F&P Stock Solution GmbH that's why I decided to start working at F&P. I started at F&P Stock Solution as a Project Assistant for the "Fashion Flash" and was able to take on other tasks after a short time, such as buying. My first days were very interesting, I learned a lot about the subject of Human Resources and was also able to contribute my experiences from my previous time at Adidas in the event sector. The stock of F&P Stock Solution – Much more than just stacking boxes! Shoes, textiles and accessories are the main business of F&P Stock Solution. As one of the world's leading wholesaler of overstock, customer returns and liquidation goods, the F&P warehouse covers more than 6,000 square meters in the headquarter in Falkensee and every square meter is needed. Several truckloads arrive and leave the warehouse every day. A lot of work for the team around Mauro Galluccio, the Head of Logistics at F&P. However, the work in the warehouse doesn’t just consist of stacking boxes and loading and unloading trucks. Every product that received F&P is checked for quality and quantity. This means unloading the truck, unpacking the goods, looking at the goods, checking and sorting, counting and repacking the goods. The so-called inbound check is one of the daily tasks in warehouse operations. Likewise the outbound check for goods, which was sold and should be sent to the customer. Depending on the quality level of the goods, a categorization and, if necessary, packaging according to customer requirements. Every day the warehouse reaches tons of overstocks of shoes and textiles, which once pass through the storage cycle before leaving the company headquarters in Falkensee. "I’m 26 years old and come from Potsdam where I live together with my girlfriend and two beautiful cats. In my free time, I like to cook, go to the cinema or sit relaxed in front of the console. In 2012, I successfully finished my apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist. After half a year I wanted to gain new experiences in a new job and so I started to work at an international logistics giant. Unfortunately I didn’t like it there and so I tried relatively quickly to reorient myself and found a place as Head of the Warehouse for empties at Real. Before starting in the warehouse at F&P have been able to gain more experience with an automotive supplier. Now I am here at F&P Stock Solution and I’m very curious about what expects me and what great people I will get to know here. The two Founders and Managing Directors of F&P, Julius Göllner and Ole Schneikart, are not only committed to the well-being of their employees and to a sustainable corporate policy with their own companies. It is just as important to them to support people in need with what they can do. In the past Julius and Ole have been supporting privately and through F&P some social projects. For example, F&P orders the office supplies through AmazonSmile and donating Jangu e.V. with every order, a nonprofit association that cares for the education of young people in Uganda, to open up better prospects for the future. The event series of F&P Stock Solution - "Fashion Flash" - supported the organization "Pink Ribbon", which takes care of the enlightenment around the topic of breast cancer. In April 2018, F&P organized the first Charity Fashion Flash in Falkensee and was thus able to donate about 3,000 Euros to the children's shelter and the socio-pedagogical family assistance in Falkensee. Every Christmas Eve thousands of children all around the world have wishes for Christmas. Not all of them can fulfill this wish. This year, thanks to the support of then team from F&P Stock Solution, a few more children will be pleased to receive a present. Many employees have shopped and packed the gifts. The organization "Operation Christmas Child/Christmas in a box", so fitting for F&P as a wholesaler of overstock brand shoes, came just in time. F&P Stock Solution currently employs around 50 people in a different kind of departments, including warehouse, sales, buying and project management (Fashion Flash). A lot of work for Daniela, our HR manager at F&P. Luckily she has now help since the 1st of November, Caroline. Internationality, individuality and flexibility at F&P Stock Solution What does it mean to be an employee at F&P Stock Solution? It means dynamism, flexibility, motivation but also fun at work, team spirit and never boredom. F&P is one of the world's leading whole sellers of overstocks and customer returns of shoes and textiles. The team behind the two founders and managing directors Julius Göllner and Ole Schneikart is young, dynamic and international. Everything started in 2013 with three, including the founders, employees. In 2018, F&P already has around 50 employees at its headquarters in Falkensee. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded at the daily table tennis round after lunch. The employees come from all over the world - Poland, England, Kazakhstan, Russia, Greece or Colombia. Daniela took care of needs of the employees and also of potential employees, such as vacation applications, visas, illness, hourly registration, employment contracts or invitations to job interviews. "Before I joined F&P, I worked as a team assistant in the administration and was able to gain initial experience in the department of human resources. It was so interesting for me that I wanted to do more in that shield. I completed my apprenticeship as an office clerk at a personnel service provider in Nauen. In addition, I am still a trained design assistant and have also worked in advertising and photography. The mix of topics at F&P Stock Solution between Human Resources and Fashion has therefore appealed to me immediately. In addition to work, I have a passion for animals, especially for animals in need. I take care as a volunteer in an animal shelter for cats who needs a bit of company and entertainment, for example to play, cuddle, or just cats who are shy to get used to the company of people. AmazonSmile is a project of the shopping giant Amazon. For every order the customer makes through the smile.amazon.de website, 0.5% of the shopping sum will be donated to a social organization. The social organization can be selected in advance by the costumer from thousands of organizations. F&P Stock Solution buys most of its materials for the office or warehouse via Amazon. The idea of supporting social projects by shopping was a perfect one and comes at the right time. What does F&P Stock Solution GmbH stand for? F&P Stock Solution stands for speed and professionalism in all departments. The wholesale of overstocks, customer returns and liquidation goods in the shoes and textile market requires a high degree of trust between customers and suppliers. For F&P, this means ensuring good collaboration between all departments, whether it's buying, selling, warehouse or accounting. For a quick and smooth transaction of all transactions an experienced team, flexibility and a good teamwork are necessary. Since the founding of F&P Stock Solution in 2013, the company has grown to currently around 50 employees, with an upward trend. F&P now consists of seven departments: Sales, Buying, Finance, Human Resources, Back Office and Warehouse. ("About us"). The two founders and managing directors, Julius Göllner and Ole Schneikart, have launched F&P with the idea of taking shoes and textiles to a second lifecycle. The topic of recycling and sustainable use of already produced but still usable goods is becoming more and more important for the consumers. Nevertheless, it is not easy to combine quality, price and performance, especially in the wholesale of overstocks, so that in the end everyone is satisfied. This succeeds only with a professional structure.   Have a look behind the scene of the finance division at F&P Stock Solution GmbH The finance department has very extensive responsibilities that require cooperation with all departments at F&P. A normal day starts with reviewing account sales and tracking in our project management tool, so that sales managers and the warehouse know if customers can pick up their goods. After this is done many more tasks are on the list that can differ every day. When purchasing the goods and services, we are in close contact with the Warehouse, Buying, Merchandise and Fashion Flash departments to determine whether all the invoices we have provided are correct in their content. The formal audit is the responsibility of the finance department itself. After the audit, we record all invoices in our accounting software and prepare the payment, which will be finally released by the CFO or the managing directors.   In addition to all purchases and acquisitions, we are also responsible for processing all outgoing invoices. As soon as a customer orders a product from one of the sales managers, we receive the corresponding request and create the corresponding invoices. After invoicing, we monitor the outstanding receivables and, via the project platform mentioned above, inform all involved whether the goods can be picked up.   The basic tasks require a very precise and stringent operation of the entire department, since this work later forms the basis for all further evaluations and analyses made for all business areas. In addition to the reporting and the analysis for all department heads, this also includes regular evaluations for the management in order to review the short-term goals and to define the next short- and medium-term goals. Apart from the internal benefit of the work, this is also the basis for various monthly reports to the German authorities, such as the sales tax return, which are all transmitted by the finance department itself. In addition to these everyday tasks, the professional knowledge of accounting is also in demand again and again when developing new business ideas.
