Project Management at F&P Stock Solution - Have a look behind the scenes at Fashion Flash (Designer Outlet) by F&P! F&P Stock Solution GmbH is one of the world's leading suppliers (wholesale clothing, wholesale shoes) for overstock and remaining stock sales. We take care of overstock clearance, liquidation, customer returns and remaining inventory from top level brands. We work fast, professional, sustainable, holistic and silent. We sell our products via two sales channels: B2B (wholesale pallets) and B2C (end customers) via our event series "Fashion Flash". Our Fashion Flash is a big popup outlet event (Designer Outlet), where we turn top level locations all over Germany into an extraordinary fashion outlet (cheap name brand shoes, textiles and accessories) for women in just two days. Champagne at the reception, something sweet for in between, partners for beauty and lifestyle, in the background some music, all of this makes shopping at Fashion Flash an experience for the ladies. We combine the advantages of Outlet Online Shopping with those of "real" shopping, making the event unique. It’s not only a closeout, it’s a Designer Outlet Store for fashionistas. We need a lot of know-how as well as motivated and dedicated project managers to implement all the Fashion Flash events that F&P Stock Solution holds out each year. Viktoria, a project manager at F&P Stock Solution and responsible for Fashion Flash (Designer Outlet), tells us exclusively something about her job. Learn something about Viktoria, Project Manager at our Outlet Event: "I am Viktoria and since February 2017 I am the project manager at F&P Stock Solution for the event series "Fashion Flash" (Designer Outlet). I was born in Russia and came to Germany with my parents when I was a teen. Before I started at F&P Stock Solution and Fashion Flash, I worked as a project manager in Berlin." What does a Project Manager for Fashion Flash at F&P Stock Solution do? "I take care of the entire planning and implementation of the outlet events at Fashion Flash. For this I search for suitable and interesting locations, which fits to the unique brand outlet event of F&P. Once the right location has been found, room planning continues, because Fashion Flash isn’t just a "closeout market", but lives on the atmosphere and the huge selection of brands, models and styles. This makes the Fashion Flash from F&P Stock Solution a special brand outlet. In order to draw as many potential customers as possible to the outlet event, we need as many marketing channels as possible. This means that I contact the local media, such as daily newspapers, radio stations and/or special websites for events throughout Germany (websites for brand outlet, fashion outlet, designer outlet, trade fairs, etc.) or fashion blogs for introducing our fashion flash personally. In most cases, the people are thrilled by the concept of fashion flash. Of course, official permits, planning of personnel deployment and the entire logistics are also part of the implementation of fashion flash (Designer Outlets). The team of F&P Stock Solution, which made out the event on the day of the event, is local staff and takes care of a thousand TODo’s, such as the constant filling of cheap name brand shoes, textiles and accessories; the pouring of the champagne and the well-being of the customers. On the day of the Fashion Flash itself, I coordinate the team and even introduce myself to the cashier or the reception. At the end of an exhausting, but usually also successful Fashion Flash weekend, everything has to be "rebuild", which means that I keep everything in mind, so that we not only leave the customers of our Outlet Event satisfied, but also the manager from the locations. Back at the headquarters of F&P Stock Solution in Falkensee, the remaining shoes and textiles have to be unloaded, checked and repackaged. Once again, I contact the press to encourage coverage of the Fashion Flash that has taken place. We want to stay in mind! The organization and implementation of such an outlet event, like our Fashion Flash, requires a lot of structured work, good planning and a good team behind it. There are always a lot of challenges to master. F&P Stock Solution runs more than 40 fashion flashes every year, and every outlet event is different." Working at F&P Stock Solution is ...: "I love the overall package that Fashion Flash brings with it: the paperwork, traveling around, the team spirit and the little adrenalin rush before a Fashion Flash starts - when the gates are opened and the ladies swarm into our halls. I like to come to the office and enjoy the casual, but also professional working atmosphere. Everyone at F&P Stock Solution helps everyone and has fun at work. Fashion Flash is not just a closeout market, but a special outlet event that makes women happy. The concept of F&P Stock Solution is unique and leading this project is a lot of fun. The short and uncomplicated communication channels at F&P allow us to master almost all challenges."   (written by Viktoria Eder, Project Manager) ...

What do we do the whole day? Have a look behind the scene! Today - Logistics (Head of Logistics) "It's 7:30, switch on the lights in the and have my first stroll around the warehouse."   As a warehouse manager I have the complete F&P warehouse in my mind. In the wake of an arrival of new goods, I plan and prioritze the order with the responsible employees and distribute tasks.   "In addition, I work closely with the merchandisers. After the new goods arrive in the warehouse, we plan together how the goods will be distributed into the individual business units."   The inventory of the complete product, which is available at F&P, is also part of my job as well as the support of the labeling team in planning and organization. In addition, I'm monitoring the goods output and coordinate the cdeliveries every week.   "It's never boring. In most cases, I don't know what to expect in the morning and what challenges await me! But I have a great team with me, with whom I can master everything. That's exactly what I like about my job!" (Written by Mauro Galluccio, Head of Logistics) ...

What do we do the whole day? Have a look behind the scene! Today - Head of Event (Fashion Flash)   Morning respectively forenoon: Planning the day, coordination in the team & processing time-critical ToDo's:   Every day is different and there are always new challenges that have to be tackled together with the team - accordingly every week or in a shorter version every day begins with a get-together of the Fashion Flash Team in which each employee updates the areas / topics supervised by him / her are checked, the planning status of the upcoming event is checked, upcoming ToDo's are recorded, prioritized and distributed and all further topics are discussed together.   The rest of the morning I usually block myself to process the most important mails and ToDo's. I am happy to answer questions from the team. As a final act before lunch, around noon, I visit our colleagues from the labeling and quality team to have a real-time look at the latest collections and merchandise and speak directly with people and get information for future decision-making because they have - together with our buyers - the best view of goods and quality.   Lunch or afternoon: Lunch & consultation with stakeholders and interface functions:   Lunch is eaten together in the team - in good weather on the sunny terrace of the E-Com building. Then it's time for a collective exercise therapy and fresh cell feed: the legendary F & P after-lunch table tennis rounds!   In the afternoon, the weekly meetings will be held for discussions with the departments, project managers and external service providers involved in running the event business. One of these rolling meetings is, for example, the weekly Jour Fixe with the purchasing team, where the current inventory is checked, the purchasing planning for the upcoming events is discussed and current trends and seasonal highlights are discussed.   Evening: recap of the day, planning for tomorrow and after-work activities   Before I leave work, I recapitulate the day, preparing for the upcoming meetings or business trips of the next day and memorably note the fresh ideas and solutions that have been shot in the head over the day on Post-It's.   "At the end of the working day, friends, cooks or, to be honest, far too rarely, a round of sports. Such a day as a head of event is quite diverse and tightly timed - one has to deal with an incredible number of people, makes many decisions and deals with various topics and stakeholders. But it‘s guaranteed never boring!"   (written by Georgious (Jorgo) Kotsougianis, Head of Event) ...

At F&P Stock-Solution we work directly with a wide network of fashion brands, retails stores and eCommerce platforms, and help them liquidate their inventory, deal with customer returns and defect goods. Our young, dynamic, and international team works every day, to create and develop effective solutions for overstocks and access inventory.   We have 2 channels through which we sell the products we buy, an innovative B2C pop-up event in Germany (www.fashion-flash.de), as well as a B2B channel mainly in Russia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. We are aware that brands are concerned about image and brand value. Therefore we explore our partner's requirements and restrictions and ensure full control of our point of sales worldwide protecting our supplier's brands.   "Our philosophy is to build up long lasting and trustworthy relationships and we welcome partners and customers to visit us at any time so they can get to know us, our business model and talk about the many ways we can collaborate, and why not, join us for a ping pong match?"   In the buying department, we are constantly looking for new collaborations and for that reason, we visit partners at fashion trade shows and events like for example Berlin Premium, Panorama, and many others.     Our most recently attended event was the pre-release of PUMA x Outlaw Moscow by Overkill. The global release for this capsule collection took place on 14.07. and we had the honor to celebrate the launch at the event two days before.   "We love having direct contact with the brands and building trustworthy relationships. I am looking forward to many more."   (written by Keiko Tanaka, Junior Buyer) ...

Today we welcome our new team member Gergana from Bulgaria. After finishing her Linguistics Studies in Vienna, Gergana moved to Berlin in 2015 to study fashion styling and photography.   “I have been passionate about fashion from a very early age (my mother’s fault). I always feel the need of being creative even on a daily basis so I started my own fashion blog during my studies back in 2012.”   Before she became a member of us Gergana worked as a fashion copywriter and freelance stylist.   “Besides fashion I am also interested in art and photography.”   Gergana joined us this month and will support our team as a merchandiser.   “I am happy to be a part of the F&P crew, which already feels like a family to me!”   We are happy to welcome Gergana in our team and wish her a lot of success and great experiences. ...

What do we do the whole day? Have a look behind the scene! Today - Merchandising "The merchandiser's position is probably one of the most diversified  and most interesting at F&P."   Acting as a interface  between purchasing, sales, warehousing, accounting and content management, our work focusses on assessment of the needs of our sales team including the analysis, the management and the allocation of purchased goods for the various distribution channels such as B2B, Fashion Flash or online platforms.   "When analyzing large amounts of data, accuracy, speed and sometimes as well as a decent portion of creativity are essential. Our sales team relies on us to be fast and accurate in order to be able to successfully sell our products on a profitable basis."   But those who believe that our work is limited to just analysing Excel tables are clearly wrong. In order to classify articles and assess their sales potential, it is essential to get in touch with our products and to stay in permanent communication with the sales management and the management directors.     The speed and diversity of our work is by far the most exciting and sometimes also a littlbe bit frustrating thing that wholesale has to offer. Even greater is the  excitment and happiness, when commitment and passion are rewarded with satisfied customers and sales colleagues   "The decisive step to success is often only a dataset away."   (written by Marcus Wolf, Merchandiser) ...
