4 reasons to have perfectly fitting sports shoes   In case the running shoes let your foot float freely, you will hardly be able to complete the sports activity you were intending to perform. That’s the primary reason why a pair of shoes should be a good fit to the anatomy of your foot. The matching accuracy should not be sacrificed in favor of financial considerations. Especially the passionate sportsmen are keen on attributing the right value to the sports shoes, that are perfectly tailored to one’s own needs. There are many valid reasons to equip yourself with the right footwear even if you are doing sports just sporadically. Hereby we would like to shed some light on the most crucial aspects:   1) Risk of injury   The magnitude of the risk to get injured due to improper footwear depends on the sports discipline of choice. For example, in squash, it is not uncommon to see that one can easily slip against the wall because of a poor grip on the ground. When it comes to soccer, good shoes make the difference between hitting an opponent or gaining ball possession. Slipping down a hillside with loose rocks is a quite familiar situation to the mountain wanderers. A pair of solid hiking boots plays hereby a pivotal role: they preserve a perfect alignment between the ankle and the rest of the foot even in critical situations. In case you were about to participate in a decathlon competition, which encompasses quite diverse sports disciplines at once, you would feel relieved when you do not have to worry about the footwear. In the world of professional sports shoes can condemn an athlete to success or failure. Under unfavourable circumstances, they could even put an early end to an athlete’s career, as evidenced by the case of the ex NBA rising star Zion Williamson.   2) Wearing comfort   The practice of saving money on running shoes usually leads to the purchase of questionable footwear items. The underlying drawbacks can perhaps not be self-evident in the short term, but they will inevitably emerge with the passing of time. Too much leeway within the shoe involves the rapid appearance of unpleasant blisters. Cheap materials, which do not preserve their original shape after usage, let the foot constantly slipping back and forth, thus contributing to the progressive deterioration of the shoe. In turn, good sport shoes rarely arouse animated discussions, since they just fulfil their function, as it should be. Those who go jogging on a regular basis know for sure how important a good shoe fit is. As already noted above, the material plays a role of no secondary importance: it is much more pleasant to cover long tracks on asphalt if equipped with valuable soles. One needs rough cleats in order to keep a good grip off roads, particularly in case of rain. The soles of a badminton shoe have to be firm, but, at the same time, they should let enough margin of slack to the foot. Thus, one would be able to catch a critical ball at the last moment without slipping back and forth in his shoes with every movement.   3) Better performance   Since sports stand for rapidness and agility, the contribution of shoes to the overall performance has not to be underestimated. With a good shoe, you can gain precious tenths of a second for a sprint. Good shoes pay the most during a marathon. Especially in the last few kilometers, it is crucial whether the shoes keep the feet pain-free or not. Shoes are not of secondary importance even in the Formula 1: on the one hand, they have to stick well to the pedals, on the other hand, they have to be as light as possible in order to save weight.   4) Life period   The more attention you attribute to quality, the longer the shoes will last. Even tennis shoes can last a few years if they are made of well-sewn high-quality materials. Good football boots preserve the foot from the contact with rain and snow. If you ride a mountain bike through the forests, you will also appreciate sports shoes that hold on to the pedals and do not slip in case of rainfall. Ultimately, good sports shoes are an investment which repays itself over the course of time. ...

8 curious facts about Adidas which are unknown to the most 1. Adidas and Puma were originally the same company. In 1924 Adolf 'Adi' Dassler founded a shoe factory together with his brother Rudolph in Herzogenaurach, Germany. As it often happens in such cases, the company was named after them, namely the “brothers Dassler shoe factory”. After the end of the devastating Second World War, the underlying tensions between the two brothers grew into a total hostility. The rivalry came to a head in 1948, when the brothers decided to split up. As a result, they brought into life their own respective shoe factories. Rudolph created Puma from scratch in the outskirts of their hometown, while Adolf continued the old business under a new name: Adidas, which derives from his diminutive “Adi”. The open rivalry between the two companies did not cease until 2009, when they allegedly buried the axe of war by means of a friendly football match in Herzogenaurach. 2. The founder of Adidas, Adi Dassler, could very well have been just an ordinary baker. The sibling rivalry that led to the creation of the two sports clothing giants Adidas and Puma could never have materialised. Initially, “Adi” completed an apprenticeship in a local bakery. However, he eventually decided to dedicate the rest of his life to the family’s shoe business. 3. The worldwide popular three stripes were originally serving for stability purposes, and not as a decoration element. The 3 stripes design is probably the most important asset of Adidas. The renowned Adidas trademark is as recognizable as the equally iconic Nike Swoosh or the Puma Formstrip. Originally, the logo’s shape was purely dictated by a matter of functionality. Back at the times of the Dassler brothers shoe factory, the two-stripe design served to convey additional stability to the running shoes’ midfoot. When the original company disbanded, the newly formed Adidas was no longer allowed to use the two-stripe motif because of copyright reasons. These circumstances forced Adidas to figure out something new, which lead us to the very next fact… 4. Adidas bought the three-stripe trademark from a sportswear competitor After a while of reflection, Adi Dassler came to the conclusion that a three-stripes motif was the most suitable one to represent the new-born Adidas. Unfortunately, at that time another sportswear manufacturing company, the Finnish Karhu, was already owning the rights for such a logo. The pertinent negotiations process resulted to be quite favorable to “Adi”: Karhu happily sold its design for the equivalent of 1600 Euros and "two bottles of good whiskey". A quite convenient purchase price, as it turned out in the decades to come. 5. Reebok actually belongs to the Adidas’ brands portfolio Puma is not the only major sportswear brand whose origins are bound together with Adidas. In fact, Reebok is part of the Adidas holding company, alongside Rockport and Taylor Made. The Adidas most recent acquisition was the fitness tracking software company Runtastic. 6. The flip-flops are an invention by Adidas.  The Adidas success is mainly due to its distinguished flair for innovative designs and technologies. Amongst others, hereby it is worth mentioning the stability strips that have made a name for themselves, as well as the now-ubiquitous Boost sole technology. One of their less acclaimed, but at the same time brilliant inventions is the basic summer streetwear, the slide sandal. Adidas developed her Adilette to prevent the German national football team from catching unpleasant infections in the community showers. 7. They develop 3D printed shoes for the mass market. Adidas' Futurecraft research department has been experimenting with 3D printing technology since quite a long time with the aim to revolutionize the shoe supply chain by drastically reducing the waste of materials and the delivery times. Recently, they unveiled their latest venture to the public, the Futurecraft 4D. It is based on state-of-the-art 3D carbon printing technology. The single “construction units” are extracted from a polymer pool and then positioned at the right place with the help of ultraviolet rays. The first draft counts “just” 5,000 units. However, this is probably going to be a gigantic step forward for the whole sneaker industry. 8. Their all-time best-selling shoe is the Stan Smith. Despite the great popularity of such fashion footwear items like the Gazelle and the Superstar, the humble Stan Smith tennis shoes still occupy the role of the brand's most popular silhouette. Although the current sales figures are not available to the public, Adidas claims that in 2014 the estimated sales overcame 40 million units. We would bet that this number has been rising even further since then, considering that the plain tennis shoes have regained popularity in recent years.   Our storage facilities are plenty of Adidas Sneakers for all tastes. Vintage - Old is fashionable again At the end of the first week of June 2019 the Pop-Up Shop Launch Event took place at the Adidas Originals Store in Berlin. The Westend Vintage Store presented its collection of hot pieces from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Insights to the high-quality vintage articles can be found at Instagram under @westend_vintage. The event was accompanied by the finest music by Jack Orsen and Adidas provided delicious drinks and snacks for their guests. Soft drinks were served by Fritz Cola and tasty sandwiches were provided by PIC NIC 34. As a sweet dessert the visitors could enjoy different kinds of Florida ice cream. The focus, however, was not on catering, but on presenting vintage collections from earlier years. Many will certainly ask themselves why vintage is so trendy again. In the following we explain to you what vintage means, how the trend developed to vintage and how you can find vintage at F&P Stock Solution.    What does Vintage mean? We often hear and talk about vintage, but what do we mean when we say "vintage"? Vintage is often used to describe different items in different categories, different qualities, different ages, but what does vintage really mean? The word "vintage" was first used at the beginning of the 15th century. It was taken from the old French Vendage, the grape harvest. Whenever we talk about vintage wine, we talk about wine from a particular harvest or season. This word is used today not only in relation to wine, but also to describe other objects from the past such as clothes or furniture. So what does "vintage" mean outside the wine category? By vintage we usually mean an old item that has a certain nostalgic value and is of high quality. Vintage usually means something that is at least 20 years old, but not more than 100 years old, as it would then be classified as antique. The term "vintage" is commonly used to describe a product that is representative of the prevailing style of a particular era, not just an old product that falls within the above timelines. Why are vintage clothes back in fashion? Individual look There are many reasons why Vintage has become popular. One of them is that consumers believe that mainstream fashion has become less unique and high street fashion is too general. So consumers long for an individual look that can be achieved with vintage clothes. Timeless trend In addition, there are many people who prefer individual and interesting vintage pieces and buy them as investments or unique pieces. Consumers are waking up to the fact that vintage clothes can be adapted to the latest trends and that they are also timeless classics that can become a must-have in any wardrobe. This is one of the main reasons why vintage has become so popular. You can pick up the latest trend and have something that's only good for a few weeks, or you can buy something vintage that you can enjoy for years. Expression and personality One of the most important aspects to look stylish is originality. It tells a lot about you and your personality. Vintage clothing allows people to express themselves. Expressing your personality through clothing is not easy, but vintage clothing can do that. Soul and history Let's be honest and admit that vintage clothes have a soul. There is much more to vintage clothing than just being old and used clothing. There is a history and art in them, and they are filled with the stories and memories of the people who came before us and wore them. Owning and wearing a vintage piece of clothing keeps these people and their history and craftsmanship alive. When everything is done, wearing vintage clothes means being wrapped in romance. What makes vintage clothing so popular is that it is simply so special. Below are two typical Adidas vintage sweaters. If you like vintage, leave us a comment. We are happy about every opinion. Vintage at F&P ? Actually there is also Vintage Stock at F&P. For this our customers must turn to our Second Hand offer. Sneakerness Zürich - Our experience report Many sneaker lovers waited already longingly for the weekend on 04.05.2019 until the sneakerness finally stopped again in Zurich. The Sneakerness is one of the biggest sneaker fairs in Europe and takes place regularly in different countries. Meanwhile the fair does not only take place in European countries like Zurich, Cologne, Paris and Amsterdam, but also visits South Africa or Russia. This year the Sneakerness in Zurich again attracted numerous collectors, curious people and sneaker fans. Also our sneaker expert mingled with the audience and could lead many interesting discussions to rare sneakers and conversations with real connoisseurs from the sneaker area. Even before the start of the fair, there was a long queue in front of the entrance and many sneaker lovers flocked to Hall 622. When our sneaker expert entered the hall, he was amazed at the masses of sneakers and the number of diverse models. At the individual booths private sellers and dealers, rare sneakers up to very expensive Supreme articles were offered.  Most of the exhibitors were resellers. Resellers are dealers who, for example, buy an Adidas Yeezy for 300€ and resell it a short time later on the net for up to 1000€, depending on the rarity. Another alternative for the resellers have become fairs to offer their limited sneakers to a large mass.  In addition, there were a number of other cool booths. There was a barber, a tattoo artist and a sneaker cleaner on site to give the visitors a varied day.  Our sneaker lovers were particularly fascinated by the way people met at the show. As a rule, two strangers look each other in the eye first, then you look at the clothes. Sneakerness is different, you first look at the shoes. Because what you wear is what you are measured by in the world of sneakers. It was noticeable that most of the visitors wore very unusual and exotic models that were often limited and cost several hundred Euros. If we have aroused your interest in attending such an event in the future, please write it in the comments. We will give you a recommendation for the next event in your area.     ...

Reebok Alien Stomper Bishop Edition "40th Anniversary" The Reebok Classic "Alien Stomper" is officially available in a few selected stores, unfortunately sold out everywhere! On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the first edition of the Alian saga called "Aliens-Die Rückkehr" (Alians the return) Reebok has launched a special edition of the Mid-Top Alien Stomper. This sneaker was worn by the film character Lance Bishop, an Android who served as a technician on the spaceship, during the unforgettable movie of the same name. Reebok wants to give the lover of a Hollywood classic from the '80s the opportunity to relive the mass phenomenon of that time thanks to a limited edition. The brand new Alien Stomper is a revised version of the 1986 classic silhouette. The special edition features a fascinating leather construction with a cream-coloured leather upper. The shoe owes his vintage look to its arch, which is complemented by the grey suede at the heel and the strap with the easily recognisable red details that are. The Reebok design team has gone to great lengths to refresh the packaging, as distinctive as the sneaker itself. The triangular box, adorned with a Union Jack pattern and some commemorative forms, deserves a special mention. In order to test the sneaker one day before the official release, the navigation of our @Sneakerfalke  set off for Berlin to the Toni cinema. However, this was not as easy as expected, as only selected winners from a competition via Facebook were allowed to participate. Fortunately, our sneaker expert was drawn by lot and was allowed to test the sneaker. The winners met in the old Berlin cinema Toni, which was rented by Overkill for the release party.      Many sneaker lovers gathered for a cosy meeting and were warmly welcomed with popcorn, soft drinks and sparkling wine. But the most loyal fans felt much more attracted by Overkill's special offer. This is a unique final battle package consisting of the following elements: Comic,Pin-Set and, last but not least, a magnificent alien poster. As a souvenir of the beautiful evening, one could immortalize oneself on the photo wall of Overkill's professional photographer.   CONCLUSION Comfort: Even if the Velcro fasteners do not directly influence the fit, they contribute to improved user friendliness. Design: An interesting design model that can quickly be defined as a lover's object on the street. We think the combination of retro and future is a beautiful one and of course we would wear the sneaker ourselves. Price: If you consider that this sneaker is not a special technology wonder, the respective price seems to be a bit high. The shoe was mainly designed for alien lovers. In a sense the Alien Stomper has some similarities with the legendary Air Max from the film saga "Back to the Future". Accordingly, it's the emotional value that makes the price so special.   If you are interested in the effective use of textile and sneakers overstocks, then please feel free to contact daniel.cikin@stock-solution.de .     ...

F&P sneaker specialist at Puma Uproar Spectra Launch The new Puma Uproar Spectra could be inspected on Thursday 11.04.2019 by our sneaker expert. Puma, one of the largest sporting goods manufacturers in the world, now inspires its customers with a polyvalent shoe, which is designed both for the basketball court and for relaxed evening walks in "the Hood". The slogan coined for this sporting event is: "Made for the street, designed for the court"! In the Kickz Store at Torstraße 86 in the heart of Berlin, the Puma sneaker was presented one day before the official release. The audience was a motley mix of sneaker collectors, basketball players and sneaker experts. Sophisticated drinks and casual hip hop beats provided a pleasant atmosphere worthy of the joyful nature of the event. The always helpful and cheerful staff were always available to answer questions about the new Puma sneaker. Also the local artist legend Thomas Marecki aka Morocco developed a powerful installation for the presentation of the Puma Sneaker. The shoe literally floats in the air and is held only by a fishing line. Among them are three basketball baskets, which indicate that the Puma shoe is worn in connection with sport, especially basketball. Thomas Marecki is a well-known artist legend who has distinguished himself over the years with unusual and unique works of art. Once again Morocco proves his artistic talent. All the components that distinguish the sneaker are first dismantled and then welded together in a new shape.     The Puma Uproar Spectra aims to combine the design of the unforgettable 90s with the most advanced technologies. This pair of sneakers made of synthetics/textile looks energetic and bright and stands out in particular for its fresh yellow bang. At first glance, one might think that the Puma team has browsed through the archives of all the past collections in search of craft materials for the creation of future icons. Future collides with retro in this glittering futro design.   PRODUCT FEATURES Grip: maximum grip for sharp cuts and sudden stops Powerful: PUMA's unique damper technology ensures high energy return and responsiveness throughout the game Fit: dynamic lacing and fit system with anchoring points on the collar for a secure hold CONCLUSION Our sneaker guru tried on the Uproar Spectra and put the sports shoe through its paces. Comfort: The sneaker adapts very comfortably to the foot and offers stable safety when running. Abrupt movement changes are no problem for the sneaker and can easily be used for sporting activities. Design: The sneaker, which is used for professional training in basketball, is also suitable as a casual sneaker for everyday life. Here the sneaker captivates by a bright yellow color selection, which raises the sneaker to the status of a real eye-catcher.  Price: The Puma Uproar Spectra is in the midfield. The sneaker is currently available at a price of 130€. For a sneaker with so many features and subtleties a justified price and a clear recommendation, if the colour pleases, to put on the sneaker.  If you offer current sneakers and have surplus goods and remaining stock from last season in stock, please contact our sneaker expert, who will show you our concepts and possibilities to effectively utilize your old stock.
