Meet Julia, our new Content Manager at F&P

by fnp

Welcome at F&P – Julia

In light of the substantial growth of our F&P B2C unit over the past months, we needed qualified assistance to keep up with the steady increase in sales. For this reason, we are very happy that Julia joined our growing team!

Julia, would you like to describe the career path which brought you to marketing & sales?

I come from Göttingen, a small but very beautiful town located in the southern Lower Saxony. After school, I completed an apprenticeship in Hannover as a digital and print media clerk. Afterward, I worked in sales at the main regional newspaper. In the frames of this stimulating traineeship, I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to gain insights into the different departments of a modern media company.

After my first station in marketing & sales, my journey as a trainee went on to production and, at a later time, to manufacturing, purchasing, controlling and sales. Once I got a feeling for the various stages of a newspaper’s value production chain, I chose to focus on advertising sales. The relatively free time management, coupled with a distinctly creative job profile with a strong focus on exchanging ideas with customers, was what I liked the most about it.

After 4.5 years, I decided to go back to university again. This time I studied business administration / economics at the Georg-August-University for a few semesters before moving to Berlin in April 2019.

May you tell us something more about the interplay between living and working in Berlin in the fashion industry?

Berlin is an exciting, young and fast-moving city where you can experience a lot. I am looking forward to being here and to gaining new positive experiences and impressions, to developing my career and of course to making many new contacts. F&P is ideal to grow, learn and develop in a youthful, dynamic team. I like the start-up character, the relaxed atmosphere and above all the strong sense of team spirit. I joined F&P in mid-July and since then work as a B2C Content Manager. We sell numerous products – mainly shoes, textiles and accessories – via various online marketplaces to the end customers worldwide. Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the UK account for our key markets.

On an everyday basis, I am confronted with multiple exciting and stimulating tasks, including being the customer service contact person for any kind of inquiries. The creative part of my work is not neglected though, as we are fully responsible for the creation of product descriptions, photo production and the subsequent image editing. In my spare time, I love to go shopping as (almost) every woman does. The special thing about my work is that as a young woman with a passion for fashion, I am constantly involved with fashion trends, which in turn incites me to give the best of myself in the workplace.
