Meet Federica, our new Sales Trainee at F&P

Italy is the country of fashion “par excellence”. With the hiring of Federica, who recently joined our Sales-Team as a Trainee, we obtained a pivotal missing piece of the puzzle – a well-mannered, determined individual willing to spread the F&P verb among the Italian textile wholesalers & retail traders.
About me
My name is Federica and I was born and raised in Italy. I moved to Denmark to complete my studies and I have never stopped traveling since then. I enjoy being exposed to different cultures. This is exactly the reason that brought me to absolve two internships abroad in the hospitality management field, respectively in Portugal and Germany. After I have obtained my MSc in Service Management, I wanted to move to a new country and Berlin was my first choice.
Why F&P?
I came across the F&P Academy and its trainee-program seemed to be the perfect chance to kickstart a successful career in sales. The perspective of being able to practice all my language skills on a daily basis exerted a particular fascination on me. It also perfectly fitted my “just graduated” employment status.
The working environment is quite informal, and all the team members are young, yet experienced and knowledgeable.
Everyone is easily approachable, happy to help and open to new ideas. We received supportive intense training during the first month, which gave us the necessary tools and abilities to start to deal with our client base. The sales manager role represents a very rewarding job for me. I feel that I am empowered and truly responsible for the market I am assigned to. It is also very fast-paced, dynamic, with many different new situations every day. This is what keeps me going: I strive to establish a positive and long-lasting relationship with my clients in the clothing wholesale segment, trying to understand their needs and making tailored proposals, which are drawn from our large product range.
Moving to Berlin has been my best choice ever. This city is simply amazing! It is a place where you will never get bored. There are so many things you can do, ranging from culture exhibitions to concerts and street festivals. I particularly enjoy the numerous lakes in the outskirts of the city, where I spend relaxing summer weekends in the sun.
